In another dramatic victory for firearm owners, the Supreme Court has ruled unconstitutional Chicago, Illinois’ 28-year-old strict ban on handgun ownership, a potentially far-reaching case over the ability of state and local governments to enforce limits on weapons.

A 5-4 conservative majority of justices on Monday reiterated its two-year-old conclusion the Constitution gives individuals equal or greater power than states on the issue of possession of certain firearms for self-protection.

Dictatura pe internet - Turcia

Turcia a blocat 3.700 de site-uri din raţiuni politice, această acţiune fiind condamnată de reprezentanţii OSCE, care cer reformarea legislaţiei privind liberatatea de expresie, informează The Independent. Dintre site-urile blocate de autorităţile turce fac parte YouTube, GeoCities şi anumite pagini Google.

Milos Haraszti, reprezentantul OSCE pe probleme legate de libertatea de expresie, a sesizat blocarea de către guvernul turc a câtorva mii de site-uri "din motive politice şi arbitrare". El a atras atenţia că legislaţia turcă privind internetul nu protejează liberatatea de expresie în ţară, motiv pentru care ar trebui modificată. 

"În forma sa actuală, Legea 5651, cunoscută şi sub numele de Legea privind Internetul din Turcia, nu doar limitează libertatea de expresie ci şi restricţionează sever accesul cetăţenilor la informaţii", a declarat Haraszti. 
Haraszti a spus că legislaţia turcă a eşuat să protejeze libertatea de expresie, jurnaliştii continuând să fie sancţionaţi penal şi riscând să fie condamnaţi la închisoare pentru iniţiativele lor.

Dictatura pe internet- Italia

Iata ce se intampla cand  oamenii devin obositi de democratie.

Italia (stiti voi, tara aceea unde Berlusconi a fost reales pentru un al doilea mandat) se alatura masurilor de cenzura pe internet intocmai ca in statele cu democratii "autentice" cum ar fi China, Iran, Coreea de Nord.

Astfel , Ministerul Comunicatiilor de aici doreste punea in aplicare a unei Directive europene vizand promovarea produsului, ce se vrea a intra in vigoare la finalul lui Ianuarie.

Mai concret, noul decret prevede obtinerea unei autorizatii de la Ministerul Comunicatiilor pentru a putea posta orice film si videoclip pe internet, autorizatie similara celei obtinute de catre producatorii de televiziune.

Se urmareste in acest mod limitarea drastica a libertatii de expresie pe internet.

Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian art by which we discover that we are 100% responsible for every experience of our lives. By taking 100% responsibility we can erase programming, data, memories, and beliefs, in order to get closer to Zero.

We are constantly living in our memories. We can never experience anything as ‘new’ and our ability to “Be Here Now” is prevented. Ho’oponopono allows the Divinity within us to erase the memories which are causing us to react to all information, persons, and situations.

Everything but “peace” is a memory! This means that all ‘negative’ thoughts, annoying circumstances, disease, our reaction to people, and everything, other than peace of mind, is a memory. The conscious mind is capable of processing only 15 bits of the 11 million bits of information we perceive subconsciously, every second. It is idiocy to think that we know what is going on in the world.

Not only do we not know anything but also we have no need to know anything. The desire for information and knowledge is our conscious mind/ego’s desire to remain in control. But, that’s impossible because it cannot process the vast amount of information with which we are presented every second.

Those whom we meet in commercial situations – cops, judges, bankers, et al – are only there for us to realize that we must clean on our memory, traumas, beliefs . Blaming them only further empowers them and disempowers us.
